Carol Macrander

As Senior Director of Grant Development, Carol works with corporate and private foundations to identify mission alignment opportunities. Working closely with the Program Managers and Development Team, Carol communicates to granting organizations the impact their investments make on the military community through United Through Reading.
Carol holds a Master of Human Relations degree from the University of Oklahoma as well as a BA in Russian Studies from Dickinson College and has more than 10 years of program management experience in nonprofit and government sectors. Carol is an Air Force spouse who has first-hand experience navigating parenthood during multiple deployments. As a former Air Force Key Spouse and Key Spouse Mentor she has been honored to assist Air Force families during times of deployment and feels her work at United Through Reading allows her to continue her service to the military community.
