Jessica Hall

As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Jessica strategically leads United Through Reading’s marketing and communication efforts. Working with staff, volunteers, strategic partners, and UTR’s Board of Trustees, Jessica helps tell the story of United Through Reading in order to grow awareness and participation across both the civilian and military communities.

Jessica has over ten years of experience working in publishing and nonprofits, creating content and managing communications strategies across digital platforms. She holds a Master’s in Digital Media from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from New York University. An Army spouse, Jessica has volunteered with her unit Family Readiness Groups and base Spouses’ Club; she served as a network lead for the Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Professional Network at Fort Hood and is passionate about military spouse employment. During her husband’s last deployment she experienced the power of connecting through literacy as her daughter loved reading books with her dad, which he recorded with United Through Reading.
