The event brings together thousands of paratroopers who donate toys for local children in exchange for the chance to participate in an airborne training jump. \nOperation Toy Drop is the largest combined airborne exercise in the world\, featuring U.S. soldiers and international jumpmasters from partner nations. Paratroopers often even jump in festive holiday costumes\, bringing extra cheer to the event. \nAll donated toys go to local charities to support families during the holidays\, making the event both a valuable training opportunity and a meaningful way for service members to give back. \nUnited Through Reading will be on site to help service members record stories for their loved ones keeping families connected during the holiday season.
