United Through Reading Volunteers Make a Huge Difference!

United Through Reading recognizes that volunteers are essential to our mission. In 2024, nearly 600 volunteers donated more than 4,500 hours of their time to support our work! Thanks to their dedication, we were able to participate in over 1,200 events—an average of 83 events every month.

Together, our volunteers helped share the United Through Reading program and distributed more than 84,000 books to military and Veteran families around the world. So many lives have been touched, and we couldn’t do it without our beloved volunteers!
