Site Coordinator Resources

The Importance of Your Role

Thank you for volunteering your time to help fellow service members stay connected with the children they love. Because UTR Program Managers cannot deploy alongside our military, we rely on you—our Site Coordinators—to carry our mission forward at sea, on forward operating bases, and across installations around the world. Your dedication makes it possible for families facing physical separation to share the comfort and connection of reading together.

We Set You Up for Success

Your UTR Program Managers provide a brief training to ensure you have all the tools and resources you need. As a Site Coordinator, you’ll initiate, promote, and manage UTR at your location and share participation updates with us. Throughout your deployment or time in this role, we’ll stay in close contact—sending books, supplies, guidance, and support whenever you need it.

We also love learning from you. If you discover tips or approaches that work especially well at your site, please share them so we can help other coordinators succeed too!
