Join United Through Reading’s Warehouse & Program Assistant, Shandelle Jones, and Operation Homefront’s Sr. Program Coordinator, Breanna Caperton, for an inspiring and informative Ask Friends of the Staff that highlights the powerful partnership between our nonprofits.
We’ve invited Breanna to speak about Operation Homefront’s Recurring Family Support Programs (Baby Showers, Back to School, Holiday Meals, and Military Child of the Year) and share how these programs provide essential services and support to our military families across the country and how United Through Reading is able to amplify that impact by donating books that enrich those events and the military community as a whole.
With events taking place from small towns to big bases, Shandelle oversees the logistics for thousands of books to arrive on time for all of these events. She’ll share what it takes to coordinate shipping our materials from our headquarters in San Diego, CA to small towns and big bases across the country to support those who serve.
