From September 15 to October 15 every year, we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. This important month is set aside to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre de cada año, celebramos el Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana. Este importante mes se reserva para celebrar las historias, culturas y contribuciones de los ciudadanos estadounidenses cuyos antepasados vinieron de España, México, el Caribe y América Central y del Sur.
The best way to celebrate is by reading books to learn more about other cultures, our shared history, and people throughout history.

At United Through Reading, we celebrate the diverse world we live in through our quarterly book gives and Storytime Starter Kit. We consciously choose books that celebrate Americans of all ethnicities. These open up conversations between parents and children about issues of equity, diversity and inclusion, and can open the door for difficult and rewarding conversations.
