San Diego, CA – United Through Reading is proud to announce that Emily Arnett, an attorney at Littler Mendelson, has joined their Board of Trustees.

Arnett is a member of the Littler CaseSmart team and is based in New York. She is responsible for early case evaluation (ECE) for class, collective, mass and representative actions. Emily has practiced law in New York, California, and Florida. A military spouse herself, Emily understands the many challenges our military families face and volunteers with a number of veteran and military organizations.

“We are thrilled to have Emily as a member of our Board of Trustees. Her experience as a military spouse, experience as a lawyer, and commitment to our mission will help military families stay connected, no matter the distance,” said Dr. Sally Ann Zoll, CEO of United Through Reading.

“I am honored to join United Through Reading in its mission to connect military families through shared storytime,” said Arnett. “I look forward to bringing my deep experience in the legal sector, as well as my experience as an active duty military family member to the work of the Board of Trustees.”

Arnett previously volunteered on the Leadership Committee of United Through Reading’s Storybook Ball.
