We’re so excited to announce that we will be adding a third Mobile Story Station (MSS) in the coming months!

If you’re not in the know, an MSS is a van equipped with a library and mobile video recording studio that we use for community events and is such a vital part of how we deliver programming for military families. We currently have one on the East Coast and one in Southern California and could not be more excited to add our third

Thanks to the incredible support we received during Giving Tuesday 2025, we were able to fund this new MSS, helping us reach so many more military communities across the country.

We’re especially grateful to the Ripples 4Ever Fund, Sunbelt Rentals, and the UTR Board of Trustees for providing a match that helped make this possible alongside many generous donors. Thank you to all involved for helping us bring storytime to even more military families.

Now comes the fun part: wrapping the van in full UTR style, outfitting the recording space, and decking it out for community events. We can’t wait to share updates when it comes together.
