Virtual Volunteer Opportunity
Did you know social media messages are shared 24 times more when coming from real people compared to when posted by the company! This is why we are recruiting social media ambassadors to help us spread the word about United Through Reading.
Our ambassadors are:
- Passionate about supporting military families.
- Well-connected and respected in their community.
- Able to post on social media at least two times a month; training and guidelines will be provided to create posts that engage readers and encourage them to participate.

What we are asking #UTRambassadors to do.
In addition to reading and sharing prepackaged posts from the #UTRambassador emails:
- Follow United Through Reading on your favorite social media platforms.
- Share your stories and what you love about UTR – such as an upcoming event, a recent blog post, your favorite book, or what you're reading to the children in your life.
- Use a certain hashtag when we encourage you to do so – for instance, tell others “I am an #UTRambassador,” to show your support for UTR.
