Bessie Ostrander
Area Coordinator, Hampton Roads | Chesapeake, Virginia
As a Programs team member, Bessie is the United Through Reading Area Coordinator in the Hampton Roads. She works with commands and local military support groups, increases awareness of United Through Reading and the importance of the read-aloud experience for the entire military family, and coordinates recording opportunities.
Bessie is a Navy spouse of 15 years and a mom of three boys. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Communication and is eager to help expand the reach of United Through Reading to the local military community!
