As CEO from 2007 until her retirement in 2022, Dr. Sally Ann Zoll transformed United Through Reading into a worldwide organization that effectively and efficiently fulfills the highly focused and incredibly important mission of delivering millions of bedtime stories to military families. She expanded the financial support for United Through Reading’s mission through new partnerships with corporations, foundations, and individual contributors and helped evolve storytime delivery through digital technology. Under her leadership, United Through Reading was routinely recognized through awards denoting exceptional impact in supporting military families and for measurable contributions to enhancing literacy and reading comprehension. Sally returns to United Through Reading on an interim basis.
