We’re excited to announce that United Through Reading has been chosen to participate in Target Circle’s Charitable Giving campaign! This incredible opportunity allows our community to support us simply by shopping at Target and casting votes that help us continue our mission of bringing military families together through storytime.
Why Your Target Vote Matters
We believe in the power of stories to connect loved ones, especially military families separated by deployments and assignments. For 35 years, we have helped service members be part of their families’ daily routines no matter the distance. With your votes, we can continue to provide resources that make these heartwarming moments possible, creating cherished memories and fostering a love of reading in children of all ages.
How to Support Us in Three Simple Steps
1. Join Target Circle: If you’re not a member, joining is easy and free. Sign up at Target.com or through the Target app.
2. Earn Votes: Shop at Target in-store or online. For every eligible purchase, you’ll earn votes in Target Circle.
3. Vote for United Through Reading: Head to the Target Circle dashboard to vote for us. Set your preferred store to one in San Diego (see zip codes below). The more votes we receive, the larger our share of Target’s charitable giving!
The Target Circle Voting Process
Casting Votes: Casting votes is an entirely digital experience. A Target Circle Member may log in to their Target account at target.com or on the mobile app and follow the prompts and instructions to vote. Nonprofits will display in a list with each organization’s name, logo, description, and website link. Even if you don’t live in San Diego (our headquarters), you can still help us win! Just change your preferred store to one of these zip codes before voting: 92064, 92071,92081,92083, 92093, 92102, 92104,92107, 92108, 92110, 92111, 92115, 92126, 92127
Earning Votes In-Store: At checkout, a Target Guest may scan their Wallet barcode in the Target App at the time of purchase or scan the barcode on their receipt with the Target App within seven (7) days of purchase.
Earning Votes Online: To earn a vote on a Target.com or Target App purchase, a Target guest must have joined Target Circle and be signed into their Target.com account when they place an order. Some purchases are not eligible to accrue votes.
Deadline: The voting period doesn’t end until December 31st, so every vote between now and then helps us significantly impact the military community! Please take a moment to vote for United Through Reading and help us continue to keep military families connected and reading together every day.
